Acute injuries (e.g. ligament tears, muscle strains, acute low back pain, whiplash, concussion, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, bursitis, radiculopathy, sports injuries such as ankle sprain and ACL rupture)
Chronic pain (e.g. tendinopathies, hypermobility,  post surgical pain, repetitive strain injuries such as tennis elbow, golfers elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic lower back pain)
Joint pains (e.g. osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis)
Orthopaedic/surgery recovery (e.g. total knee and or hip replacements, spinal surgery, ankle surgery, shoulder surgery, fracture rehabilitation)
Women's Health (e.g. urinary and bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, endometriosis, PCOS, pre and post natal mums, DRAM, caesareans/C-sections, menopause)

Will the treatment hurt?

Treatment at GLO Physio is designed to relieve pain, not cause it! Some hands-on techniques or exercises may feel slightly uncomfortable, especially if we are working on a tight or sensitive area, but we always work within your comfort level. You are in control at all times, and we will adjust our approach to ensure you feel safe and supported throughout your treatment. Our goal is to help you move better and feel better—without unnecessary discomfort!

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

We are very happy to see you without a Doctor’s referral. Following your assessment, if we feel further investigation or an onward referral is required, we may contact your GP or other health care professionals – with your consent. However, if you are using insurance to pay for your treatment, your insurer may require a GP referral. Please check your insurance policy for further details.

We also ask you about what you'd like to achieve from attending Physiotherapy and tailor your appointments accordingly. Your care may combine education, manual therapy, taping, movement, and evidence-based treatment to help you build lasting physical well-being.
